Baho Coffee, founded by Rusatira Emmanuel in 2013, operates four washing stations across Rwanda, including the newly established Gitoki Washing Station in Gatsibo, Eastern Province.

Through Gitoki and its other stations, Baho Coffee supports local farmers, with a special focus on marginalized groups like women, youth, and older farmers. Rusatira, personally affected by the 1994 Rwandan genocide, has a deep commitment to empowering women, many of whom head households, by providing training, financial support, and a platform to sell their coffee separately.

At Gitoki, these social programs are put into practice, helping farmers improve their livelihoods and continue to thrive in the coffee industry. Through these efforts, Baho Coffee is building a sustainable, inclusive future for Rwandan coffee, with Gitoki playing a key role in that vision.
