Rwanda Karambi Fully Washed Filter

Karambi Washing Station, located in Rwanda’s Nyamasheke district, is at the heart of this exceptional coffee. Sitting at 1,893 meters above sea level and sourcing cherries from farms between 1,700 and 2,000 meters, the station plays a key role in bringing out the best of the region’s high-altitude terroir.

Established in 2016, Karambi is run by RWACOF and works with over 755 smallholder farmers, many of whom have been growing coffee for generations. During the harvest season, the station employs up to 120 workers to carefully process cherries using the fully washed method, ensuring consistency and clarity in every cup.

With its commitment to quality and farmer collaboration, Karambi Washing Station continues to elevate Rwandan coffee on the global stage.
