With a history spanning over 100 years, it is managed by Dr. Fabio Araujo Reis, a retired physician who now dedicates himself fully to coffee production. The farm covers 800 hectares, with 400 hectares set aside for natural forest conservation, demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Fazenda Salto focuses on natural processing methods, where ripe cherries are carefully dried in the sun to enhance their sweetness and complexity. The farm is also IMPACT-verified, meeting strict environmental, social, and economic standards. Beyond coffee, the Araujo Reis family invests in the local community, running an on-site school for workers’ children and maintaining ethical farming practices that prioritize both people and the land.
