Wush Wush is a rare Ethiopian coffee variety with a fruity flavor profile which was brought to Panama in the 90s from the Wushwush region in Ethiopia. The Miro and Olmedo families have curated a unique batch of this variety in their Bonita Springs estate in Boquete, one of the top-tier coffee regions in Panama.

At Bonita Springs farm, the two families own and operate a wet mill with a focus on specialty processing. We considered these among the best coffees that we had the chance to enjoy this year. It was very special to have an opportunity to meet with the owners of Finca Bonita and discuss their approach to coffee cultivation which is centered on environmental consciousness and quality.
