Brazil Fazenda Do Salto Natural Anaerobic Drip Bag

Behind this pack of coffee is the story of 5 generations of the Reis family. The farm Fazenda do Salto, which has a history longer than 100 years is now led by Otávio Reis.
Fun facts about this farm: Yellow Catucai, Catuai, Bourbon, Robi, Icatu and other sorts of cherries are cultivated on 800 hectares of land. Forty out of a total of ninety workers are on the farm permanently. They work on maintaining the entire farm and taking care of the coffee plants all year round, splitting different responsibilities between themselves. And can you imagine - about 80% of these people have lived their whole life on the farm?
The name of this farm ‘Salto’ means ‘Jump’ in Portuguese and the family achieved many prizes in competitions, the prestigious Cup of Excellence being one of them. Fazenda do Salto is a member of BSCA – Brazil Specialty Coffee Association and we can certainly say that this is a true, classical Brazilian coffee in the best meaning of this word.
